In our world we like to pretend that we will all live to 100 years old, and that we have all the time in the world. Depicting death is a way to remind yourself that you must live every day like it’s a blessing to be alive. similarly, i think love is what motivates you to want to live in a better world. sex and death aren’t inherently evil things, they have simply been perverted and twisted by capitalism and our modern world.

Years of personal expression through art has made it easy to create surreal and introspective art that blurs the line between eroticism and grotesquery. my art was even stranger growing up, giving me a strong outer shell and a love for contradiction. i believe in making art that feels like a confession, that speaks to the repressed darkness inside of a lot of us.
